So we have managed to swing a show on a Friday night out in Brooklyn, Friday May 25th at 8pm we’re kicking it at the new Luna Lounge in Williamsburg!  There’s going to be a radical after party, too, and it’s being planned by our good friend and choreographer, Ms. Colleen Gutwein.  I’m not kidding about the choreographer thing.  More details soon.

So how about that show during the Flood of the Second Coming?  Despite the tremendous amounts of rain that drowned people, a few of our most hardcore supporters came to see us at Midway over a week ago.  Thank you very much!  We’re currently trying to book a show out in the ‘burg, so we’ll be coming back to you soon!

Friday night at Clash Bar totally kicked ass.  Many thanks to the Jersey crew who came out (despite getting lost, probably due to partaking in events related to the date).  We had a pretty good turn out for this one and the place was nice, so hopefully we can go back and put on another event.  Let It Rock Bob’s new joint is really classy, the sound is good, and the staff were all really quite excellent.  It’s pretty damn punk rock, this place, and I love it.  I especially love the big picture of Otis Redding accompanying photos of Iggy Pop and the Clash.   It has a rather Vegas Lounge feel to it, but punk.  It’s a good time!

Our next definite show is Saturday the 19th of May in Trenton at the 449 Room.  We’ll be playing with our excellent friends from South Jersey and it’s an all ages show!  For our Meat Is Murder Friends, the 449 Room has a cafe that sports a vegetarian menu.

Still working on the details on that Williamsburg gig, but likely next month, and we’re likely going to put on some kind of after party.  We’re going to make this one a total blow out, since it’ll be our first time out there.

The last bit of news is that we’ll be recording a single this month for release in June.  It will feature one b-side.  If you’ve come to our shows, you’ll probably be able to guess what the single is.

For the love of god, somebody please come and grab video of the dance so we can put it on you tube!

For this show we will be putting on our Ska & Reggae hat. The Cool & Deadly are hot Dub from Brooklyn, and Steadfast United is crazy ska from Philly with one guy who used to be in The Specials! The Cool & Deadly asked us to come out to Clash Bar in Clifton, so we must indeed. Hope to see you there.
