So we just booked a number of shows for the coming month of October, and you can see them on our shows page. The first is next week!
But I really want to highlight this one: Maxwell’s, Tues Oct 9th, at 7:30pm.
That’s a big deal for us, and we could really use your support. I know it’s a school night, but it’s also an early night, you can go home to your baby afterwards and sleep off all the beer and still be on time for work in the morning.
Come out and help us show these punks how to dance!
All details and listings are over here.
We’ll be doing a super awesome Hallowe’en show in Newark, too. Details once the event is confirmed.
Just throwing it out there, we’ll be selling our awesome new t-shirts for half-price tonight at the Clash Bar - so that’s $5. If you missed it, we’re playing with the Porchistas and the One And Only Typicals. All info here (21+!!!) See you!
Thanks for coming out Saturday for Shangri-la and sticking around all day while the party partied on despite the city’s lame attempt at spiking it! Money was raised for the Grace Church Feed The Hungry Homeless Breakfast Program, rock was rolled, and a really good time was had. And who doesn’t want a walking tour of downtown JC? (who got slightly retarded and tried climbing the rocks? IT WUZZUN ME)
Nothing quite so awesome as catching The Gay Blades on the roof of the old hospital at Art House and then packing all those people into the Lamp Post bar to rock it in the back room.
Is Lismore hot, or is Lismore hot? I mean fucking COME ON! Ridiculous, hot, and fun. I love them as a two piece, I actually can’t imagine them with live drums and bass.
Many thanks to our friends Snake Vision for coming up from New Brunswick and sticking it out all day to play at Lamp Post with us, you guys fucking rocked Jersey City.
The Meltdowns are playing again really soon at a local hot jam. On Friday September the 14th (the same night that Under The Sea opens over at Redsaw, but early in the eve), we are playing Clash Bar in Clifton, NJ with Montclair’s story-telling troubadours The Porchistas (lead by that wily Alan Smith of Forest St!) and Brooklyn’s mad monsters The One And Only Typicals. It’s going to be a riot, so plan on coming.
